The 2010 season finale of Family Guy had me laughing so hard, if I had been drinking milk, there would have been a constant stream hitting the TV. Unlike some people, I hadn’t bought the DVD release of Something, Something, Something Dark Side which was used as the finale, so I was completely surprised with every twist and turn of the hour long episode unfolding before me as I watched on my satellite TV, one of the best cable tv deals.

Once again, Peter took the role of Hans Solo putting his sarcastic and witty comedy behind the character. When he was being tortured by Stewie (who plays Darth Vader with short man syndrome), I had to catch my breath from laughing as two speakers were lowered next to his ears while the tune ‘Where Have All The Cowboys Gone’ from Paula Cole played at full blast.

Every time Brian the dog (playing the Wookie, of course) did the gargling sound that Wookies do, I laughed constantly. The gay man, Bruce, and his ‘Oh No’ is always a riot and of course he was at it again in this episode. Even though Chris plays Luke Skywalker and is mostly the main character during the episode, I found myself not laughing as much.

As far as parodies go, Family Guy always delivers and this is another reason why I hardly miss an episode.
